Tiffany Garden flower pendant

Seeing this pendant brought so many childhood memories.  I have an almost similar pendant that my mom gave me when I was in grade school that I can only wear during recognition or any special event.  My mom never said when or where the pendant should be worn but my grandma would insist this self-proclaimed rule just to make sure that it will not be lost due to my carelessness.  My multi-colored version of this pendant by Tiffany Garden didn't last for long, I was scolded and grounded again for losing it when I wore it during a special event.

Cheap Monday silver cube ring

You are not redirected to another website.  What you are seeing is actually a ring--not a typical ring that is round but it really is a ring only in cube form. This cube ring by Cheap Monday is really unusual and you can wear this on any side that you want.

Lanvin blue flower ring

Lanvin isn't famous for making jewelries but I think this flower ring says that there is future for them in the jewelry industry.  From the sides, this ring doesn't look like a flower, it looks more like a bug, but on top view it is interestingly a flower with an ethnic feel.  Considering the brand, this ring isn't cheap, it costs $600 at Zoe.

Lydell NYC crystal teardrop chandelier earrings

My mom says that I can forget about wearing necklace or ring or a bracelet but I should not forget about wearing my earrings when I got out because you want attention to be on your face.  Of course she also means to wear earrings that will perfectly frame my face.  I have found this chandelier earrings by Lydell NYC that will serve the purpose without me spending a lot... this is only $24.

Kenneth Jay Lane crystal bib necklace

Max & Chloe describes this bib necklace by Kenneth Jay Lane as fierce and bold and I couldn't agree less.  I love how the irregularly shaped crystals are connected and the color is just lovely and can be worn with almost anything but I prefer this to be worn with a strapless dress to let it stand out.

Betsey Johnson multistrand sea charms necklace

There are so many reasons why I like this necklace by Betsey Johnson.  I like the nautical feel of it, the multistrand and the cute charms.  I can definitely see myself wearing this with a crisp white summer dress and my favorite Havaianas while walking along the beach or reading a book at the porch.

Take Care of those Jewels

I have featured numerous jewelries and accessories already and I think it is about time that we organize them and protect them.  I found this jewelry organizer that is very affordable (it is only $11.99) but will make sure our jewelries will be free from dust and other harmful elements.

Another sure way to keep your jewelries and accessories last longer is to clean them regularly.  There is a jewelry cleaning solution that can be found in the market that will strip off dirt but will not harm your jewelries.

Invest on ways to protect your jewelries because they will serve you a lifetime... you can even pass it on as heirlooms to your relatives and in time their value will appreciate.

Sevan Lady Ring

I love this ring!  As you can see there is a woman's face inside the 35.5 carat lemon topaz stone while the entire ring is covered with diamonds.  I haven't seen anything like this before for a jewelry and it reminds me of Toei's Maskman character Princess Iyaru (Rio) who was buried in ice by her brother because she fell in love with one of their mortal enemies--Michael Joe (Red Mask).  Okay, so I admit being hooked with Japanese fantasy series when I was a kid and I am not ashamed of it because I find the story good... it is actually one of my favorite shows to watch aside from Bioman and Shaider.  Haha!

The price of this ring will not make you laugh, though, it is a whopping $16,950 at Barneys.

Bebe cutout butterfly earrings

If you love Heidi Klum's huge butterfly earrings that she wore during the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards but don't have enough money to stash, then Bebe's cutout butterfly earrings are here to take charge.

For just $24, you can have Heidi's look without breaking the bank.  You can have your very own butterflies right here.

Cross Brooches and Pins

The Catholic Church is into a lot of criticisms lately particularly about priests molesting children.  The Holy See promised to never stop protecting children and look into these cases.  These issues only shows that priests are humans too who make mistakes but that is not an excuse.  I studied in Catholic schools but that doesn't mean I am a devout Catholic... I believe in the doctrine and dogmas and live a life the way true Christians do.  I am sad that these issues are being brought up again so as my support for the Pope's means to save and protect both children and the Catholic church, here are some pins and brooches that are inspired by the religion.

Jean Schlumberger 'Maltese' cross brooch made of 18k gold, $9,300 at Tiffany & Co.

Erickson Beamon Victorian inspired Swarovski cross brooch, $470 at Net-A-Porter.

Chanel ivory pearly glasstone brooch, $999.99 at Bluefly.

Comet Bas Relief brooch by Vivienne Westwood, $173.25 at My Wardrobe.

Jay Strongwater 'Christian' cross pin with multicolored Swarovski crystals, $110 at Bergdorf Goodman.

'Bracken' antique inspired cross brooch with acrylic pearls and rhinestones, $20 at Aldo.
