Charity begins at home... I am glad that Anjolee supports cancer research through the American Association of Cancer Research.  Portion of all sales of this pendant that can be personalized will be given to AACR to research about the causes and cure for cancer.  I've always been charitable but it is just recently that I actually supported a charitable institution and the feeling of helping others is just incomparable.  Maybe I can extend my help by buying this pendant that will remind me that there is hope for cancer only if we will continue helping each other.

It is Mother's Day on May 9 and I am now in the search for the perfect gift for my mom.  My mom loves jewelries, although she doesn't collect them, she owns some classic pieces that she can pass on to her children (like me). Macy's 14k White Gold Stud Earrings

My mom used to work in Saudi Arabia before she moved to the US with my grandmother and her other siblings. When she was still in Saudi Arabia, she would buy us necklaces and earrings even when there is no occasion at all.  I remember her giving me an earring similar to Macy's 14k white gold diamond stud earrings as a gift for being in the honors list of our class when I was in grade 4.  I got excited and all to wear my gift not knowing how expensive it was.  I played all day and when it is time to go to sleep, I noticed that one lock is missing.  My mom scolded me about it.  I wonder what punishment she would give me if one of the studs was missing.

I  have a ring similar to this Sethi Couture white diamond band that my fiance gave to me 4 years ago.  There's a sweet and funny story behind our engagement ring.  He didn't actually knelt to propose when he gave it to me because I was with him when he bought it.  There is this one jewelry shop in a shopping mall... the last of the many shops that we looked in for an eternity ring.  When we entered the shop, the ring similar to the picture caught our attention.  We asked the sales person if we could try the ring... it was a perfect fit for me but not for him, it is a little tight on his left ring finger.  We both fell in love with the ring so he bought it., he said he'll just wear it on his right.  Well, the ring never reached the ring box... it stayed on our ring fingers ever since and it will stay there for eternity.

Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend

I have been planning to buy one for myself, although it wouldn't happen in the near future, I don't really expect a guy to buy one for me.  Diamonds are a girl's best friend and a man's worst enemy, if that's the case, then girls really don't need guys to buy it for them.  

The world's most expensive diamond item is the diamond bikini by Susan Rosen and Steinmetz amounting to $30 million while Sotheby's white diamond amounting to $23 million ranks #2 but the most expensive diamond of them all is the Millenium Star Diamond amounting to a whopping $630 million!  

I don't dream of owning any of the mentioned diamonds... it would cost me a lifetime.  I will just satisfy my at-the-moment wanting for diamond by looking at jewelry shop displays and the internet.

My sister bought me this bracelet about a year ago and I love it!  I love it not only because she gave it to me but because I am a bracelet person and I really like the design.  While other people could not settle for a few charms, I am contented with this one... and it has my name's initial by coincidence so this became personalized in an instant.  The chains are masculine but the heart made it just for ladies.
