Although most of it have been confiscated by the Philippine government, what remains in her possession are still to die for. Imelda Marcos is the wife of the late former president Ferdinand E. Marcos--the 10th president of the Philippines (1965-1986).
Let me show you some of her jewelries that even Christie's had a hard time deciding the auction price.
Ruby necklace with diamonds from Van Cleef & Arpels and a ruby brooch (center).
Brooch with 85 carats of yellow diamonds.
Diamond bracelets. The lower two were made by Gionmoria Buccellati.
A Persian style necklace of more than 100 carats of canary and pink diamonds of various shapes and sizes.
