It is summer in other parts of the world. It is officially over on my side. But, despite the summer being officially over in mine, it is still scorching hot. I guess the weather bureau should start considering changing the months of the season.

I had the happiest Christmas Eve ever. I spent it with the whole family, we exchanged gifts and ate dinner that our grandmothers cooked. We were all full!

I decided to post this Oscar de la Renta multi-stone necklace because its color reminds me of Christmas.  Green, red and gold will forever be Christmas's official colors.  Aside from the colors, it also has mosaic stations that added more flare to the necklace.  This necklace is $595 at Neiman Marcus. It also has a cuff to match.

This Oscar de la Renta masterpiece is made of chalcedony, turquoise, amethyst, quartz, chrysoprase and fresh water pearls... what is a chrysoprase?  I actually haven't heard of it.  Anyway, the mix of six stones to a 22k gold plated chain really looks nice.  I love the whimsical character of it... it actually looks better when worn.  You can get this at Saks for $832.99 previously $1,900.
