Crystal and Gold Medley

I am so excited! I will attend a cocktail party tomorrow in a hotel. It is not every day that I get to attend a party and preparing what I will wear and the accessories to go with the dress is like a hunting game.

Luckily I have a reliable source of goodies with reasonable prices. I bought the set of gold bangles at a thrift store inside a mall. They are unbelievably sold for half a dollar for a set of five! The crystal bracelet has been rotting inside my closet for like a year. The two are perfect together.

I once owned a cockatoo named Jimmy that my boyfriend gave to me as a present for my birthday. He was the first pet that I ever owned. I took care of him more than I took care of my grandmother's gold fishes. He's smart and would imitate voices. For six months, my routine every afternoon would be to feed him with his favorite sunflower seeds. Until one day, when I got home from work, he was no longer in his cage. No one in the household saw if he got out of the cage or if somebody took him. For days I would imagine he would find his was back home.

But, he never did came.
